Angie and I were finally able to check out a few new stores in St. Paul today. Everyone said I would love them and they were right...I loved them. Addicted was one of my favorites, where I finally found my little bunny ring. There are two stores right near each other. The people working were super cool and even let me take their photos for my blog. They had all kinds of graphic tshirts and jewelry. I loved it and will definitely be back to look for whats new.

Thien and I did a lot of walking and exploring while he was in Paris. One day while wondering around in Belleville, we landed upon a street that any artist would dream of. Belleville welcome's all graffiti artists, or any artist for that matter, who craves to explore their talent. You couldn't turn the corner without seeing someone painting or tagging something. The people were creative and confident. There were even little graffiti tribute type museums where photos of well known works of art were displayed. I must say it was a sight to see.

There are many that might say in all their years of knowing Thien Lu they have never seen him jump around like a wasted white girl, sing, smile, laugh and dance all in the same night. On this night, Angie, Thien and I ventured far into Belleville in hopes to see this sold out show. The lineup included names like Zdar & Boombass aka Cassius, I Cube & Gilb’R aka Chateau Flight, Panteros 666 & Canblaster & Myd & Sam Tiba aka Club Cheval, Dimitri from Paris, Cosmo Vitelli, Ariel, Wizman, DJ Deep and Krikor. A long while passed and just as we were about to give up; we were finally let inside. That night I saw Thien smile bigger than I have ever seen anyone smile in their life while he danced around and swayed his hips to the music. It was beyond great.
