Today we visited the Madame Grès exhibit at the Musée Bourdelle. She was a talented designer and very well known for the way in which she designed woman's clothing. Grès draping method is what makes her pieces most memorable, as she sculpted the fabric directly on the models body. The museum displayed 80 pieces starting from 1934 to 1989. Every single garment was absolutely amazing. I found it fascinating that all of the dresses were so timeless. Even though they had be made years and years ago, I would gladly wear any piece today and every day after that.

Light is pure.

The burning candle, so bright and beautiful. The happy thoughts and memories, so light and wonderful.

These photos were taken at the church of St Augustin which is right off Boulvard Malesherbes. The 1st two candles were to represent my Grandparents, Bob & Mildred Trott. The 3rd candle I lit for Thien's Grandmother who recently passed away while living in Paris. Just like a human soul, a candles flame must breath, change, grow, strive against the darkness and, ultimately, fade away. The flame of a candle helps to remind us of our loved ones and how precious life is. May your light live on forever. <3

Jason and Angie had the magic room. From their window we were able to climb to the roof of the hotel.
It was an amazing view and a beautiful sunset in the city of Milan. <3

While passing through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, we discovered a curious custom in Milan. Supposedly if you spin around on the testicles of the bull mosaic found in the center, legend has it that it will bring you good luck. Everyone was quick to spin around until we heard that some believe it brings better luck for pregnancy. I stepped away as quickly as possible.
