My day

I needed a day to myself, so I took one.
And I loved it.

Whenever I go home, my Mom always laughs at me as I rummage through old boxes and jewelry. Featured above is my PawPaw Bobs top hat which I have worn ever since he passed away, and the newly found cuff link thing..of my Dad's. He always supplies my most favorite jewelry, and I love to wear them because each has a story or emotional meaning to go with them.
(Gold watch, bullet necklace, and cuff earing)

To my surprise, Mary-Kate Olsen covers the September issue of Marie Claire.
I was excited to see the magazine come out with an issue so true to fall. Also featured in the Mary-Kate spread is my very favorite, long time crush, the Made Her Think Ring
Talon Knuckle Buster.
Mmm.Mmm.Mmm.

(Erin Wasson 2010 shoot)

I feel as if my blogging time has been taken over by online classes and fashion spark fires. As September approaches, I am pulling every fall fashion issue off the stands and diving deep into army greens, fur, leather, and leopard. I fell in love with the Erin Wasson shoot above...and have been meaning to share this with you late fashion followers -as I know my up to date bloggers are rolling their eye's with the "old news"- I will post all of my new found inspirations as soon as time allows.

Oh..and side note... Alex Wang and Erin Wasson for Halloween? Don't mind if I do Mr. Lu...xoxo

The following set of photos were taken at Mrs. Jessica Palmers new and improved Raleighwood home. As the process unfolds, new seams, zippers, and extra touches are included in the mix. The ever forming idea grows with new inspiration of lace and textile. To see the collection come together with detail and sparkle is a process in which the designer must create in the mind first.

The design idea builds a foundation depending on its potential to function as one. As the collection grows, I see the progression of ideas form into one body of creativity. The legs, the arms, the hands, are forming to the design idea of creative spirits and hopes. Do stay tuned dear friends..
